  The ABC is hosting the NZ Open 2013. Day 1 was a fine day with the wind building over the first two rounds. New Years Twilights Completed

The last twilight race night for the Post Xmas Series ended after 7 races as the wind dropped out. Racing started in about 8-10 knts although a bit flukey at times. Thursday saw the early arrivals head for 90 MB to start sailing in a 5-6 Kent breeze. Over the next 1 1/2 hours the wind rose to about 15 knts and a steady stream of arrivals meant over 20 karts racing on the beach. Wayne got a top speed of 70 km/hr at the end.. read more →
