Finally plenty of wind (with only a few stinging showers to add some extra challenge), a long runway with the bottom mark on the road side of the runway which worked well as we couldn’t use the grass on the emergency runway side.
It was great to see Paul Beckett racing with us, along with Ross from the Bay and John Marshall from Hawkes Bay who once he got the hang of the track proved a worthy challenger to our Heavyweight club members.
Congratulations to Barry for winning the Lightweights ( Apparently being Club President seems to help)
and Wayne for winning the Heavies, and the shootout trophy.
